COURSE OVERVIEW
Today’s supply chains are under growing pressure from every direction. What once appeared stable and efficient can quickly become exposed by geopolitical tensions, supplier disruption, cyber threats, logistics delays, climate-related events, and sudden shifts in market demand. In an environment where one weak link can trigger serious operational consequences, organisations can no longer afford to rely on traditional supply chain assumptions.
For Malaysian businesses, the stakes are even higher. As part of deeply connected regional and global supply networks, organisations must now manage not only cost and performance, but also uncertainty, disruption, and resilience. The real question is no longer whether disruption will happen, but whether the organisation is ready when it does.
This 2-day programme is designed to help participants understand where supply chain vulnerabilities exist, how risks are evolving, and what practical actions can be taken to strengthen resilience before disruption escalates. The programme covers supply chain risk fundamentals, emerging threat patterns, risk identification and assessment, supplier and third-party exposure, and the growing impact of digital, cyber, and external market risks. Participants will also explore practical resilience strategies, including supplier diversification, contingency planning, logistics alternatives, stress testing, and business continuity planning. Through case discussions, guided exercises, and practical workshops, they will gain the tools to assess weaknesses, improve preparedness, and build more responsive and disruption-ready supply chains.
By the end of the programme, participants will be better equipped to anticipate risk, respond with greater confidence, and strengthen supply chain continuity in an increasingly uncertain business environment.
